Michael Kugelman is Asia Program deputy director and senior associate for South Asia at the Wilson Center think tank in Washington, DC.
He is also a columnist for Foreign Policy magazine and writes its weekly South Asia Brief, a newsletter with news and analysis from the region.
His areas of focus include the international relations of South Asia and US relations with the region. His current projects focus on lessons learned from the US experience in Afghanistan, Afghanistan's relations with its neighbors, the future of US-Pakistan relations, and the role of technology in US-India relations.
